James trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. He has worked in Corporate Departments at a number of banks in the city, including Investec and Oriel. In addition to his role at Dowgate, James is also a Non-Executive director of UK Land Limited, and Lothbury Group Limited, and was previously a Non-Executive director of Treatt plc, and Novera Energy plc.
