In Corporate Broking & Advisory we act for a diverse range of high quality growth companies with a particular expertise in disruptive technologies and digital media. We believe that disruptive companies will have an ongoing need for capital to fund their continued growth and will appeal to both private and institutional investors. We identify companies with strong management teams who hold meaningful equity stakes in their businesses, which aligns them closely with all shareholders.
In addition to raising capital for listed companies, we also source private funding for those private companies who are not quite ready for a stock market listing. We look for strong management with skin in the game, with a clear business plan and demonstrable growth potential.

We continue to grow our Asset Management business with a focus on bespoke portfolio management. We have recruited experienced investment managers and have developed a broad product offering. We have a good platform, a strong balance sheet and an entrepreneurial working environment. Assets under management and administration are approaching the £1 billion mark.
The senior team have worked together in previous guises for approaching 30 years and created valuable franchises and businesses. They have seen many stockmarket cycles with a wide range of experience across many sectors, including financial, media, technology and support services. Their unifying passion is for exciting growth companies and the team has an enviable track record of growing companies from small beginnings into substantial enterprises – companies such as Domino’s Pizza, Learning Technologies Group and Rightmove. This track record has continued at Dowgate, with notable successes including Franchise Brands, National World and S4 Capital.
