Mel started his career as a jobber on the London Stock Exchange and then moved to BZW.
Later he was part of the team that set up Altium Securities. While at Altium he established the sales and trading department and was part of the capital markets management board.
After leaving Altium, Mel worked at Finncap and WH Ireland, specialising in AIM and smaller companies.
Mel started at Dowgate in January 2024.
